Happy New Year!
I had such a good time on New Year's Eve, I stayed up until 10:00! I got to play with my friends, Whit, Mae and Trey...they are so fun! We are off to Townsend for the weekend-I hope it's not too cold there!

Suzanne, Thank you so much for the beautiful Christmas card you sent me with Murphy's Christmas picture. He is precious! I have a precious new little cousin and shared his picture with the rest of the Parrish Family at our Christmas celebration. I called Mike after I received the Christmas Card......it was really good to talk with him. He is so proud of Murphy!!!! I teach High School Psychology Classes; as well as Art Classes. I truly believe that there is a music/art connection in our brains which help us all. There is a set of Classical CDs called Baby Genius CDs, which is really good for infants......I bet Murphy would love them. He is soooooooo cute! Our family really needs to have a Family Reunion. I can't wait to see Murphy in person. He looks like a little angel. Tell Mike that my son, Jay, starts working on his MBA at Mississippi State University today. Jay was born in July, 1979, two weeks after you were born........so you are both the same age; as Aunt Elizabeth used to point out.....it is a shame that you two didn't get to be with each other as you were growing up.
